UV-Fluorescent Pigments

Our invisible inorganic and organic UV fluorescent pigments are used to create security materials like inks, pastes, threads, fibers or planchettes that are invisible to the naked eye but offer an intense luminescence under ultraviolet (UV) light. These security materials are used in a variety of security applications, such as marking banknotes, passports, and other documents to prevent counterfeiting. They are also used in product tagging and tracking, and in forensic investigations.

 

Organic UV fluorescent pigments are characterized by high luminosity, which means that a low dosage in the substrate is sufficient. Inorganic UV fluorescent pigments have a high temperature resistance, which makes them suitable for use in processes or environments where high temperatures prevail.
